Gratitude List #6

Here it is.

1. Snuggle party on my bed last night, with Kirsten, Karen and Rebecca.

2. 2K on Wednesday. It was my second best time ever. However, compared to my PR, I am 10lb lighter (when you are heavier, you can pull a little harder) and the stroke rating was much lower, which means I was controlled. I am also proud of myself, for not beating myself up during the piece. I was really positive, which helped.


3. Birthday/ Oscar party and birthday week! (see post http://cjwthankyou.blogspot.com/2012/02/birthday-post-part-1.html)

4. First snow fall (well since October).

5. Having breakfast this morning with a friend. She and I have been giving each other distant for a little while. It was nice to have a meal with her, like old times.

6. Taking a long afternoon nap yesterday.

7. ROWATHON. I still can't believe I rowed 14,000 meters straight on Friday (the 6,000meters I rowed that Thursday, counted toward the 20,000 total). Even after a morning practice. If you would like to still donate, you can do so here



8. Admission tour guide interview. It was so great to hear all these amazing women's stories here at MHC. Reminded me how grateful I am to go to this school, where ever voice is heard!



9. Sleeping in until 5:40am this morning! WOOT WOOT! Then walking to practice in the snow, pretty magical.

10. Zumba tonight with Karen, Fleming and Kirsten. Hopefully this will happen! We are all planning on wearing our crew unis (YIKES). I didn't get to go to Zumba on Monday since I had an interview. Karen, and I haven't done Zumba together in a while... Hopefully it won't be canceled because of the snow!
