1. The family we met in boston on Friday night. My dad and I went out to dinner Friday night, and at the bar we met this family. We ended up chatting and joking with them for a long time (wish we could have stayed longer). They were only one family, but they put the biggest smile on my face. I'm trying to find more out about them to hopefully send them a thank you card, but all I know is that their names are Marie, Becky and Melissa. They are from New Hampshire. Becky and Melissa are a PT and speech therapist. However all I can say is that they are still on my mind, which means they meant a lot, or I'm just a major stalker (lol).
2. Teresa and her family. They let me stay with them on Friday night while I was in Boston. So grateful for them.
3. Tuesday night with Marianna. Marianna came over on Tuesday night to hang out. We ended up finding my old diary (from when I was in 6th grade) we were laughing way to hard.
4. Cupcakes and tea with Evelyn last night. I had a great time catching up with her.
5. Virtual races. Because it's the winter, it has been a major challenge to find road races to participate in. Through some research, I have found virtual races. Basically you run a certain distance, donate money to a cause and get medal in the mail. I just signed up for one for Leukemia.
6. Tamar. Tamar is a friend on Dailymile. She always inspires me with words of wisdom.
7. Staying semi calm during the last three weeks. Really trying to manage all the stress as the semester comes to a close. To be honest, dealing with this past Thanksgiving was more stressful.
8. Meetings with Sandy every Monday night.
9. Eliz. Eliz is our head RA. She does so much for us. I could tell she was stressed last night, which is totally understandable with finals coming up.
10. Dinner with Shay Sunday night. Great to catch up with a great friend. Especially since Saturday and Sunday were so lonely.
