Thank You #56

To Meg. Meg and I went to sleep away camp with each other for something like 8 years. It wasn't love at first sight, perhaps for the first 6 years. However, I can now say she is one of few Scintillaides I keep in touch with. We, and 28 other girls were the  Scintillaides of 2008. During this summer, we helped out with everything on camp and bonded together. We became sisters. After that summer, I went back as an assistant counselor, but because for various reasons, didn't go back after that. Not going back, was one of the hardest decisions I had to make. All the Scintillaides keep in touch with each other of over a group on FB. However, many of them still go back and work there each summer. I miss them all and am super jealous I don't get to see them very much. Meg and I have stayed in touch much more since we started going to college. In the past I have talked to her mostly when I was dealing with hard stuff in my life. This morning when I woke up, I got the sweetest text from her, out of the blue. It seriously made me smile.
