Thank You #146

To Paula (from Bank of America).
Back story: Today was a horrible no good very bad day. The day started off on a high note and ended on a very very low note (now it's getting a little better). I woke up earlyish and did some laundry. I went to work to find a "we are closed today" sign. Having the whole day off I went to the gym and got an amazing workout in. I was feeling pretty great about myself, until I was on the elliptical and my iPhone stopped playing music. I decided after the gym that I would go to the AT&T store 45 minutes away to get it fixed (because in addition to the sound not working the camera doesn't work). We went to the store and they said they couldn't fix it, but if we went to an Apple store another 45 minutes away they would defiantly exchange it for a free one. So we drove over an 1 1/2 on this beautiful day to get this stupid phone fixed. Once we got there they took us right away and informed me that it would be $150 for a new phone, since they said there was water damage (which is most likely sweat from all the times I workout with it). So there goes $150... When I reach to grab my wallet my debit card isn't there. I search everywhere... NO WHERE! Luckily I had another card. In panic, I grabbed the new phone hoping to get me some kind of answer (aka my iPhone is my security blanket), it's then I realize none of my contacts, music, email etc. were saved.. To make a long (useless, stupid) story short... I had a meltdown outside the Apple store, trying to put myself together to call everywhere I had been that day. No one had it. The whole hour and a half ride home was me screaming at my dad and melting down like a five year old. Finally when I got home I plugged my iPhone into my computer, my new phone was back normal (aka I had all my contacts, photos, email accounts etc.) Then I called Bank of America and gave them all my information. Over the phone I talked with Paula who was able to cancel my card and send me a new one. When I was about to hang up I said "Thank you so so so much for everything, I had a horrible day and you made it that much better". Paula's response "Thank you for choosing and staying with Bank of America"... generic, but hey she did make my day end on a good note.

Rose and Thorn:
Rose-  Getting a great workout in and solving everything by the end of the night.
Thorn- Read above... Basically melting down and getting in a major fight with my dad
