Thank You #196

To Rebecca. Rebecca is one of my best friends from home (actually really my only best friend from home). We have been in school with each other since 1st grade. We became friends around 5th grade, however our friendship grew strongest our freshman years in high school, even though we went to different high schools. Whenever we get together, we become teenage girls all over again, having sleepovers, going on shopping sprees, pulling all nighters and talking about boys. I cherish the time I have with her, since usually it is very short and then we go weeks (or even sometimes months) without seeing one another. However, even if it has been months since we saw one another, whenever we get together again, it's like no time has passed. We try to stay in touch when we are not together, but I would be lying to say that we text, email, call, FB message each other every single day. Here comes the cheesy part (well I guess you could say this whole post is a little on the cheesy side) she is one of the greatest people in my lives and has been there for me through all the ups and all the downs. In the spring, I found out that her family was moving to LA. Even though we are both in college (she is in MI and I am in MA) it's sad to think that whenever I go home to visit my mom for holidays she won't be there across the street. She has become a part of my family and is a sister to me. I know we will stay close, but it is just another reminder that we are growing up and things are changing. I hope she has an amazing birthday!

Rose and Thorn:
Rose- Got 11 hours of sleep! Also got laundry done last night, best feeling to have clean clothing
Thorn-We have a summer row, where some of the team members come up and we sleep in the boathouse. I plan on going. However, I really don't want to sleep on the floor tonight and get eaten alive by mosquitos.
