Thank You #236

To Laura. Laura is the housekeeper in our dorm. Today we had lunch with her as RA's. She was so helpful and sweet and promised to be my mama bear this year in the dorm. After our lunch with her, I got a lot of phone calls from my mom and Marie. I listened to them, and both of them informed me to call them back immediately. I texted my mom back because I was about to go into a meeting and couldn't talk. She said I had to call her this moment things weren't ok with dad. My parents have not been on speaking terms since their divorce, so I knew if she was talking about him something was wrong. I instantly broke down in tears. I went out of the room crying and called my mom. She told me what happened and the tears kept pouring out. At this moment my dad is in the ICU and has a breathing tube. On Saturday night he chocked and then had a seizure. Then his lungs collapsed and he got pneumonia. He isn't doing well, and I am so so so scared. I am so grateful to have had both Marianna and Laura there for me. She cheered me up with stories about her looking out for girls.

Rose and Thorn:

Rose- Worked out this AM with the crew team for a pre pre season workout. Then got a 4 mile run in today. 

Thorn- My dad. I am so scared right now.
