So, I am coming up on my one month anniversary. Yes, I have written a thank you note every day for the last 30 days. It hasn't been easy, somedays it is just impossible to find someone to thank (especially Sunday's where a spend most, if not all, of the day alone. On that note, I have decided that I can give more then one thank you card to the same person. Why not? I have great friends, who are amazing to me, so why not show my appreciation to them more then once a year! Another new addition I am making to the daily post is a "Rose and Thorn" section. Rose and thorn, are events in your day, one good (rose) and one bad (thorn). They will be quick, but will help me make my gratitude list on Thursdays, by having something to refer to about what happened during my week.
Another big event coming up in my life, my birthday (4 days and 5 hours in counting). I am going to write thank you notes to people who celebrate with me and people who give me gifts (even though celebrating with me is the best gift ever). This will count as one thank you post (even if there are 100 thank you's, I doubt there will be). I will probably get around to it next week, since I do want to enjoy my birthday and most importantly the Oscars!
Hope everyone has enjoyed reading my thank you notes. I have gotten such positive feedback from them! I have gotten so many "Thank you for the thank you" letters (this could go on forever).
